Cremation in Ladner: what to expect

We answer the phone 24 hours a day and arrange the transfer from wherever your loved one is in Ladner. Transfer from a hospital is included in our package. A transfer from a home, hospice or care home adds $145.00.

Cremation takes place at our own crematorium in Aldergrove, about 54 km from Delta City Hall in Ladner.
After the cremation
We call you when the cremated remains are ready. You can pick them up at our Aldergrove office at no charge, or our staff can hand-deliver them to you in Ladner for $95.00.
Ladner has no cemetery of its own. The City of Delta runs two, Boundary Bay Cemetery in Tsawwassen and North Delta Cemetery, and arranges every interment by appointment through its Cemetery Administrator at City Hall in Ladner. Both have in-ground lots and niche walls for cremated remains, and Boundary Bay also has a scatter garden.
In July 2026 the Province and the City of Delta announced a dedicated place for families to scatter ashes into the Fraser River, at Fraser Viewpoint on Tilbury Island. Delta is upgrading the park, which already has a reflective garden and seating area, to give safe access to the water's edge.
Across BC, ashes can generally be scattered on Crown land and in provincial parks, with consideration for others. On private land, ask the owner first, and in towns and cities, local bylaws apply. We can also scatter the ashes at sea on your behalf for $95.00.
