Charges that may apply

  • Transfer from a home, hospice, care home or another funeral home: $145.00. Transfer from a hospital is included.
  • Pacemaker or implant removal: $75.00. Required when a pacemaker, defibrillator or similar battery-powered implant is present.
  • Reinforced cremation tray: $299.00. Required when your loved one is over 220 lbs and the cardboard container is chosen.

Can we spend time with our loved one first?

Yes. A witness cremation begins with a 30-minute visitation in our Aldergrove chapel, so your family can say goodbye before the cremation begins.

Is our loved one dressed or prepared?

No. A witness cremation does not include preparation or dressing. If you would like your loved one dressed, or a longer visitation, our Cremation with Visitation package includes embalming, preparation and dressing.

How much does Witness Cremation cost?
