What Peacehold gives your family

• Time back when you need it most. No more hours on hold with government agencies, pension plans, insurers and retailers. Your Associate does the legwork.
• Confidence that nothing was missed. Peacehold reviews more than 300 items to find the government and corporate benefits your family may be entitled to, along with every notification that needs to be made.
• Protection for your loved one’s identity. Sadly, a deceased person’s identity can be a target for fraud. Peacehold notifies the credit bureaus and includes identity theft protection for the deceased.
• Someone in your corner for a full year. Questions often come up months later. Your Associate stays available by phone and email for 12 months, at no extra cost.
• Done right the first time. Your forms arrive completed, with clear instructions and pre-addressed, stamped envelopes. You just sign and mail.

How it works

1. A conversation on your schedule. Pick a time that suits you, and your Associate will call. It takes about 30–60 minutes, and you can ask anything.
2. We figure out what applies. Your Associate reviews your situation and identifies the forms, benefits and notifications your family needs, so you don’t have to research it yourself.
3. Your package arrives ready to sign. Within 10–15 business days you’ll receive an organized package with every form and letter filled out.
4. Sign, seal and mail. Sign where indicated, put each letter in its pre-addressed, pre-stamped envelope, and drop them in any Canada Post mailbox. That’s it.
