Professional & staff services

This fee for our basic services will be added to the total cost of the funeral arrangements you select. This fee includes usage of our web-based arrangement tool, coordinating all cremation arrangements you select.


Arrangement conference in your own home or our office

We will arrange a time to meet you in your own home or our office.


Completing documents

This fee includes obtaining the necessary authorization and permits, registering the death with Vital Statistics Agency and obtaining certified copies of the death certificate on your behalf.


Transfer services

This fee is for the transportation of your loved one into our care within our service area.



This fee is for sheltering your loved one at our facility.


Cremation fee

This fee is for the cremation of your loved one. Additional charge for a Cremation Tray may apply if your loved one is greater than 220 pounds - $299.00.


Rush cremation fee

Rush Cremation prioritizes the cremation process and your loved one will be cremated within 3 business days of receiving your loved one into our care and having received the necessary medical documentation.


Witness cremation fee

This fee is for you and close relatives to attend the start of the cremation at our crematorium. The crematorium is suitable for no more than 10 family and close relatives. This service is available Monday through Friday at 9:00am. This service does not include any visitation, preparation or dressing.


Visitation in chapel with preparation and dressing

This fee is for the use of our on-site chapel for up to 60 minutes with preparation and dressing of your loved one. The chapel is suitable for no more than 30 family and close relatives. This service is available Monday through Friday 9:00am to 5:00pm.


Return of death certificates and cremated remains

  • Hand Delivery to your Home or Office (Hope to Horseshoe Bay – Tuesdays and Thursdays) - $95
  • Pickup at our office by appointment (Aldergrove – Monday to Friday) - no charge
  • By Canada Post (British Columbia) - no charge
  • By Canada Post (Canada) - $95
  • Permanent Disposition by Sea Scattering - $95

Additional fees for shipping death certificates and remains outside Canada is calculated on a per-case basis.


Cremation certificate

A cemetery will require a Cremation Certificate for the burial of cremated remains, and you will require a Cremation Certificate for any travels with cremated remains or shipment of cremated remains through the mail.


Letter of contents

If you are planning on travelling with the urn and cremated remains (for example, air), a carrier or security checkpoint may request a statement from the funeral home regarding the death, cremation and urn. A Letter of Contents is a letter from us on our letterhead informing the reader of the death, cremation and urn. You would provide this letter to the carrier upon request.


Certified copy of death certificate

We include one original death certificate along with the cremated remains. We suggest an additional 2-3 death certificates based on the size of the estate.


Scattering of cremated remains by sea

On your behalf, we will arrange to scatter the cremated remains at sea. We scatter by sea once a year, usually in late summer or early fall. You will receive written confirmation of the scattering, including the date and approximate location.
