It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Bill Dickie of Surrey, BC on November 8, 2024 at the age of 80 years.

Forever remembered by his wife of 58 years, Shirley, nee Dowling, as well as his children Marci (Lowell) Holmquist and Sheri (Ed) Homsy;

grandchildren Emilee, Bailey (Tara), Austen (Angel), Branden (Brielle), and Carsen; great granddaughter Stella; brothers Dale, Michael (Elaine), and Greg (Janet); as well as numerous family and friends.

Bill was predeceased by his parents William Sr. (Bill) and Margaret Dickie, nee Tedford.

Bill was born in New Westminster in 1943 to Bill and Margaret. He grew up in Maple Ridge, BC before marrying Shirley in 1966 and moving to Delta where they raised 2 daughters, Marci and Sheri. Bill became a journeyman plumber in 1974 before starting his own company, Marsher Mechanical, named after his daughters.  Bill was a plumber his entire career completing his last job at 74 years of age.

Bill!...Buddy!...Mac!...Pa!…Dad! Your wings were ready, but our hearts were not.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 7, 2024 at 2:00PM at Delta Church, 7696 112 Street, Delta, BC.

In lieu of flowers consider a donation in Bill’s memory to Elim Christian Care Society or the Alzheimer’s Society of Canada.
