June 30, 1972 – June 17, 2026

It is with profound sadness that the family of Trevor Paul Bamford announces his passing on June 17, 2026, at St. Paul's Hospital in Vancouver, BC, at the age of 53. Trevor was born on June 30, 1972, in Chilliwack, BC, a place he called home his entire life.

Trevor was the beloved son of Dale Gordon Bamford and Sharron Lee Bamford (McNabb). He was raised in Chilliwack, where he attended Vedder Elementary School, Vedder Middle School, and Sardis Senior Secondary School. He went on to build his career in the trades, working for Jeld-Wen Door Division and Canex Building Supplies in shipping and receiving.

Above all else, Trevor treasured being a dad. It was one of his greatest joys in life, and his love for his children was evident to everyone who knew him.

Trevor had a deep love for the outdoors. Whether he had a fishing rod in hand, a rifle over his shoulder, or a golf club at the ready, he was most at home in nature. He had a lifelong and tender love of animals, having shared his life with many cherished pets over the years.

Trevor is predeceased by his father, Dale Gordon Bamford; his paternal grandparents, Walter and Anne Bamford; and his maternal grandparents, James and Madaleine McNabb.

He is lovingly survived by his mother, Sharron Bamford (McNabb); his children, Austin Bamford, Hayley Bamford, and Carys Bamford; his siblings, Steven (Sherri) Bamford and Lee-Anne (Paul) McMillan; his nephews, Trent (Rylee) Loewen, Tyson Loewen, Joshua (Macy) Bamford, and Logan (Sofie) Bamford; and his nephews and niece from Edmonton, Alberta, Alexander Tirschmann, Damien Pattison, Cora Boudreau, and Caleb Boudreau.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, July 5, 2026, with an open house from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM in Chilliwack, BC. Family and friends are warmly welcome to come and share memories of Trevor. A private family internment ceremony will be held at a later date.

Trevor will be deeply missed by all who knew him — a son, a father, a brother, and a friend who leaves behind a lasting impression on the hearts of those he loved.

Messages of Condolence

I just learned of another dear friends passing. I hadn't heard from him in a while so I reached out on his Facebook page. That's when I realized why. Another stark reminder of how good it is to cherish the time we have with those that matter in our lives. Trevor Bamford was one of the kindest, loving, humble man I had ever known. He endured more than his share of loss and physical pain. I wish we could have had one more visit before he was laid to rest. I hope we meet again by God's grace. I pray you loved ones will know the comfort of God's presence as they grieve their loss of your life. You were a good man.
