Robert Smith

December 30, 2021

It is with great sadness I announce the passing of Robert Aurthur Smith, of Langley B.C, December 30, 2021. Bob was born January 1949 in Montreal Quebec, to his parents Margaret and Joseph Smith. He will be dearly missed by his sister Arlene Slack of Pickering, Ontario, and his brother Ken Smith of Brampton, Ontario. He is survived by his sons Steven, (Angie) Smith of Bracebridge, Ontario and Jamie, (Jen) Smith of Coulbourne, Ontario, and his four grandchildren, Victoria, Lauren, Taylor, and Brody, and his life, and business partner Christine Morrison. He will always have a special place in the hearts of Michelle Green and Tamara Reid of the Langley area of B.C.

Bob was a very successful businessman, working in the field of sales of textiles for over 40 years across Canada. In partnership with Christine Morrison, he established a success company Coast Textiles of Langley B.C.

Bob was man that thoroughly enjoyed his time in Harrison Hot Springs, on his boat cruising Lake Harrison, with family and friends. He had a special love for his adopted cat (George the cat, and we are not sure who adopted who) and Christine's dogs.

Bob will be truly missed by his life partner of 32 years, Christine Morrison.

“”Rest in peace Bob, you will always live in my heart.”

Donations in memory of Bob can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or Canadian Cancer Association.
