Quiring, Robert Allan – 2 July 1944 – 25 September 2023

Surrounded by family, Bob passed away at Langley Hospice 13 years to the day of his father Elmer’s passing. He is survived by his wife of almost 61 years, Pam (nee Ross), daughter Tami (Scott), son Allan (Nancy), grandchildren Amy (Josh), Michael (Hayley), Carrington (Sarah), Lucas, great grandson Tanner who arrived early just to meet his great grandpa, siblings Barb, Dick, Ed, Bill, Debbie and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Bob worked most of his life in the towing industry and was a member of the Aldergrove Volunteer Fire Department for 30 years, retiring as a Captain and driver trainer. He was generous in sharing his knowledge and experience with the younger generations, always with a good story to tell. Bob also made many life-long friends who shared his enjoyment of fishing and camping way off the beaten track. We are grateful for the many memories we have with which to remember him.

As per Bob’s wishes, there will be no service. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation in Bob’s name to the Langley Hospice Society 20660 – 48 Avenue Langley BC V3A 3L6. The family would like to thank the nurses of LMH 2 South as well as the staff and volunteers at Langley Hospice for the care, kindness and dignity with which they treated Bob.

You are invited to leave a personal message for the family.
