Richard Foster passed away peacefully in his 92nd year, surrounded by family and much love. He is predeceased by wives Sharon Louise (1980) and Rose Marie (2004). He is survived by his children, Netonia (Klaus), Brian, Terry, and Thomas (Josie). His grandchildren Aeron (Susann), Seann, T.J. (Jessica). His great grandchildren, Simon, Ellen and Jonathan. Richard was a longshoreman foreman at the port of Vancouver, BC., for an approximate period of 42 years. Richard loved his family, cooking, baking, crosswords, sports fanatic and life. Dad loved his family unconditionally. We were so fortunate to have him in our lives. Rest peacefully Dad. No services requested by Papa, but when our family can gather, we plan to have a celebration of life in remembrance of all the fun times.

Our deepest sympathy on your loss of an amazing man. Papa was easy to be with, always making people feel very comfortable with his big smile. I loved it when he would send me a piece of his fantastic apple pie, he was so kind. He loved all of you with all his heart..
