November 1

It is with heavy hearts the Ross family announces the loss of our beloved Phyllis ‘Lucy’ Lucille (Bowen) Ross. Phyllis had a difficult life with many challenges, but, despite hardships or misfortunes was always loving, kind and gentle, thinking always of her loved ones before herself. ‘Lucy’ as we liked to call her, was an avid fan of baseball and would pace a hole in the floor when the Toronto Blue jays were competing in the World Series. Phyllis passed away with her husband Harold by her side at the Madison Care Center in Coquitlam. Phyllis is survived by her husband Harold Ross, children Robyn (Dan), Sally, John (Sonnie), Tony, and her granddaughter Nora as well as her dear friend Shirley Lawton, Brother in Law Charles Ross, cousins, nieces and nephews. Phyllis was born in Edmonton Alberta and moved to BC with her family in 1977 where she lived in Burnaby and Maple Ridge with the exception of several years that she lived in Ontario, California, and Nevada between 1987- 1991. Phyllis moved to Madison Care Center in 2018. Phyllis loved spending time with her family, she will be dearly missed.
Phyllis passed away on November 1st, All Saints’ Day, mere days before she would have turned 86. She was cute, sweet, thoughtful, kind and loving to her last breath. We carry you forever in our hearts, Lucy.
Thank you to all the caring staff at Madison Care Center for their kindness and exceptional care.

You are invited to leave a personal message for the family.
