With heavy hearts, we announce the sudden passing of Nickolas Andrew Mason, who left us far too soon at the age of 25. Nickolas had a deep passion for music. He produced and recorded his own songs, by skillfully using technology to bring his artistic vision to life. One of his dreams was to create music videos—and he proudly accomplished that. He had an adventurous spirit and a love for sports, including hockey, basketball, and skiing. Always ready to accept a challenge, Nickolas approached life with energy and determination. Academically gifted, Nickolas had a particular talent for math and was pursuing a career in accounting. He attended school in both Sylvan Lake and Rocky Mountain House, where he made lasting friendships and memories. His wonderful smile, creative spirit, and genuine passions will never be forgotten.

“Until We See Each Other Again”
Those special memories of you will always bring a smile, if only I could have you back for just a little while we could have a hug, sit and talk again just like we used to do, you always meant so very much and always will too. The fact that you’re no longer here will always cause me pain but you’re forever in my heart until we see each other again.
You are invited to leave a personal message for the family.
