FOBERT, LYNETTE HELEN (née Patterson), 79, of White Rock, passed away on Friday, November 10th, 2023, at Melville Hospice after battling cancer. Lynette was born on April 21st, 1944, in Oakville, Ontario, where she spent her youth. She had been a British Columbian resident for the past 42 years, moving from Brampton. She will forever be in the hearts of her loving husband of 55 years, Wayne, daughters Shannon (James) Clark and Kelly (Larry) Kristof, and grandchildren Ethan, Nicholas, Mykenna, Aidan, Tristan, and Logan. Our family is heartbroken with the loss of our mom, grandma, sister, and aunt. Her love was far-reaching, and her kindness and gratefulness were felt by all those around her. A special thank you to Melville Hospice for their exquisite care of our mom. She was preceded in death by parents Thomas and Gladys (née Fitzsimmons) Patterson, her sister Alice Anne Seidel, and her brother, Tim Patterson. The family will receive friends on SUNDAY, DECEMBER 10th, a Celebration of Life Open House from 2:00-5:00 pm at #103 13585 16th Ave. in South Surrey. In lieu of flowers, please send messages of condolence below.

Truly a beautiful soul. Lynette was filled with so much warmth and kindness. Her caring and nurturing energy were evident to all who had the privilege of knowing her. I always loved making her lattes at Dudes.

Our hearts are saddened and we send our deepest condolences to your family at the loss of Lynette.  I have many fond memories of Lynette - in particular, how happy she was when we had the garage sale at Wayne & Lynette's home in Abbotsford and I told her we would get rid of all her coffee cups (and she had many!) by serving coffee to everyone who attended the sale and telling them to pick a cup they liked because they got to keep it as a "customer appreciation gift"!  Lynette was a kind and hardworking woman who was loved by many.

Sending you love across the Rockies ..... Barry & Gloria Treiber

Lynette will be missed by everyone who has ever known her.  She had the biggest heart and genuinely loved people.  Nobody could ever doubt her happiness when she smiled, her face and eyes lit up.  I would like to extend my sympathies to all of her family and know that she will live forever in your hearts.  Sometimes the smallest of things will remind you of her.  Just treasure those moments and be pleased for her that she is no longer suffering.  Wishing all of you peace in the coming months.
