Loved immensely by family and friends, our most beloved Lorena Gail Dieno (Lorna), passed away unexpectedly at Royal Columbian Hospital in new Westminster, BC on the 24 of July 2023.
Lorna grew up and lived out her life in Bridgeview , North Surrey, BC, daughter of Berthold Reinhold Dieno and Nadine Veronica Dieno. She was the most loving, generous, unique, strong, wise, hilarious, gifted, talented, extremely caring, phenomenal Daughter, Wife, Mom (to many!!!), Grandmother sister, cousin, and friend that anyone could ever have asked for!. She was a collector of many unique and unusual things. She will be deeply missed and survived by her brother Randy Dieno, sister Penny (Nadine) Dieno, husband Gordon David Huycke, daughter Jessica Dieno( Wife Lisa Loncan), son in law Paul Wilson, nephew Mitchel Dieno (Partner Jordon), grandsons Jacob Dieno and Caleb Wilson-Dieno, many cousins, close friends Jo Ann Robson, and April Goodine, plus countless others.
Lorna struggled with a multitude of health issues throughout her entire life, plus many other personal struggles, loss, and much more, but she never let that stop her from living her best life she could. She absolutely loved everyone and everything with her whole heart and soul, an earth Angel who spread her love to all life, space and time. She was an expert thrift store shopper, finder of a multitude of treasures, bizarre, unique, unusual, intricate, eccentric, eclectic, beautiful, stunning, historical, collectible, and everything else in between items!!! Literally everything! 😊 👼 😇 She always gave the Best Hugs and her gorgeous Smile!

Lorna was my partner in mischief. I loved her. We were in grade 4 at Bridgeview Elementary when we became friends. We had the best adventures, I would fake a nosebleed and Lorna would come to the nurse's room with me. There was no nosebleed. We played the Flintstones, we went to the back of the baseball field where there was a little creek. we would sit for hours. Then the day I stole a whole box of chocolates from my stepmom. What a prize that was. We ate the whole box. She was golden. Kind, funny, and a good friend. Heaven has another angel. Thank you Lorna for making my life bearable .I'll miss you but will never forget you.
Much love
