It is with great sadness our family shares the news that Karla Henderson, late of New Westminster, BC passed away on May 21, 2024. Karla was predeceased by her parents Doug & Grace (Mackie) Henderson and her older sister Sandra (Henderson) Marcus.
Karla was born in Killarney, MB on May 10, 1961 & joined the family on the farm a few miles north west of Boissevain, MB. After her father Doug’s sudden passing in 1968, Aunt Grace, Sandra and Karla moved to Brandon, Winnipeg, Los Angeles and finally settled in the Vancouver - New Westminster area of BC. Karla worked for many years as a Secretary/Administrator in the offices of Lawyers/ Solicitors along her journey.
Karla leaves behind cousins Dawne (Bob) Obleman, Anne (Steve) Dow-Clarke, Edward (Marielle) Dow, Dianne Dickson, Glenn (Kathleen) Dickson, Alison Dickson, & Janet Dickson, their families, more cousins & friends.
Karla’s internment will be held in Boissevain, MB at a later date. If anyone wishes to make a donation in Karla’s memory, we would suggest the Canadian Cancer Society as one possible option for your consideration.
