John (Johann) Hans Schussler

Born June, 27, 1931 Passed November, 17, 2024 Age 93

With heavy hearts, we share the news of John Schussler’s passing on November,17, 2024 in the Peace Arch Hospital, White Rock BC. John lost his valiant battle with age, a battle he waged with unrelenting vigor every day until his last. At 11:00 pm John was released peacefully in his sleep just hours after our last family visit.

John is on his final journey to see his beloved wife Elsie who pre-deceased him on May 19, 2020. John is survived by his son David Schussler, granddaughter Eva, granddaughter Danika, and grandson James. Special thanks to Helena Friesen who provided care and companionship to John in his last months with us. To the staff at Peace Arch Hospital a heartfelt thank you for giving John the comfort and care he needed in his last days.
