Ingeburg
Helene Mahedy (Mom/Oma) past away June 9th, 2020 at St. Paul’s Hospital in Vancouver. She was born September 12, 1934 in Hamburg,
Germany, and immigrated to Canada in the late 50’s to start her new life. Having
many careers throughout her life, her true passion, complete focus, and absolute
dedication was MOM, not only to her own but to anyone & everyone that
needed her.
She was our
Oma, and will be missed dearly. She was one of the toughest people I knew,
fighting cancer for a very long time, she only now said her fight was over and
she wished to go back home to Mutti, Hilda Elsie, Linda & Tom. She is survived by her family Ron/Denise,
Larry/Carol, Mark/Shelley, Mike/Sharon, & Kerstin and her treasures Angel,
Corie, Sean, Elena, Jessie, Matthew, Kayleigh, Courtney, Francois & Martin,
and her oh so many extended family members also known as friends. She will live
on in our thoughts, our hearts and continue to guide us through life.
