You are invited to leave a personal message for the family.
You never know who a person may touch in their life, so you might be surprised to hear from me, but Gord was one of the nicest customers to come into my store at Davis Meats. He and Doreen were always together - I even ran into them having breakfast together at Rivers Restaurant, and we had a nice chat. I believe he must have been a kind father, from the little but that I knew him. My heart sank when I saw his photo in the paper, but I trust that he had a great life. Take care family.
Sincerely,
Diane Herbert

My sincere condolences to Tom, Susan and family. Karolyn and family too. I remember your father as a quite, kind person. My parents spoke of your parents with respect. I always knew they were “old timers” from the area !!
Thinking of you with kindness, Shelagh

Gordon and I were first cousins and grew up together on the family farm. It was always the same story that "I was 19 months older". We were always quite close together and lived just across a big field from each other. Lots of playtime between the two of us. Lots of shenanigans of course. I left the farm to attend university. Upon return from studies,I would always find Gordon the same as when we were young boys. That is a friendly helpful individual that had retained his caring and generous nature.
I know that Gordon retained this generous caring nature to the end of his life.
My most condolences to the family and he WILL BE REMEMBERED.
