With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Gary Robert Simpson, who passed away peacefully on May 11, 2025, at the age of 72 in Abbotsford, BC.
Born on June 16, 1952, Gary lived a full and meaningful life centered around the people he loved most-his family.
He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather whose kindness, warmth, and unwavering dedication to his loved ones touched the lives of all who knew him.
Gary shared 52 wonderful years of marriage with his beloved wife, Elsie. Together, they built a beautiful life and raised three children: Dennis, Brenda (Brent), and Kevin.
He was a proud grandfather to five grandchildren and a cherished great-grandfather to five great-grandchildren. To Gary, family was everything, and his legacy of love and togetherness will continue to live on through each of them.
The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to the compassionate staff at Christine Morrison Hospice in Mission, whose care and support brought comfort during Gary's final days.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to BC Cancer in Gary's memory.
He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
