Freda Ella Jean Trueman (nee Knowles)
June 2, 1930- March 29, 2023.
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our Mom, Grambo and Sister Jean Trueman at the age of 92.
Jean was born in Wolseley Saskatchen after many years of living abroad, she settled in Surrey BC.
Jean had a love of travel and visited many countries such as Africa, Spain, Russia and Israel.
Jean was active in the Peace Portal Alliance Church, Red Hat Society, and loved to golf and dance.
Jean is survived by her children, Tom Knowles (Sonja), Kim Knowles (Gina) and Janna McConechy (Grant). Grandchildren, Aaron (Laura-Lee), Brandon, Elise, Kendra, Maybry, Colton, and Will. Great grandchildren, Molly, Ava. Sisters Marilyn, Joyce, Charlotte and brother Jack.
Jean is predeceased by her Son Bill Knowles, Granddaughter Cara Knowles. Parents Alida, Fletcher and siblings, Marjorie, Eva, Bill and Bob.
A celebration of her life will be held on Monday May 8th at 1 pm at
Peace Portal Alliance Church
15128 27B Ave.
Surrey BC.

Grambo will be missed by us all
we spent many a summer holiday at the lake, she was special to us all. Famous for her amazing curry. Our deepest condolences to you, Tom, Kim and all of your family.

Dear Kim, Janna, Tom, children and grandchildren. Auntie Jean will be fondly missed. I enjoyed my conversations with her during our last Trueman reunion.
She was a beacon of love and kindness, wisdom and thoughtfulness.
