Emil Janik passed away peacefully on March 30, 2020 at the Salvation Army Rotary Hospice in Richmond, BC. He is survived by his loving wife Margaret Janik (née Broshell) and a nephew and nieces.
He was born in Hyzne, Poland on September 4, 1919 and celebrated his 100th birthday in good health, with family and friends from all over the world.
He was an avid violinist and cribbage aficionado.
A celebration of life will be planned for later this year.

I was really sad to hear about Emil. I always loved you both and I'm really sad for what's happened. I'm sorry I missed out on this last 20 years, hanging out with you both. Life sometimes takes some crazy turns and I regret not having spent time with you and Emil.
