Elisabeth (Elaine) Harder 1958-2020

Passed away peacefully in her sleep in her Surrey BC home. 

Born in Abbotsford BC she grew up and attended school in Chilliwack where she raised her son David. 

She had a love for her family and friends, a challenge and the beautiful BC mountains. She enjoyed gardening and could knit anything. 

In spite of a life full of challenges her health being the biggest, Elaine had a kind heart and would be there for others when she could. She lived alone, a true independent, stubborn and a fierce warrior in all her health battles to the end. She will be dearly missed by family and friends from all over. 

Predeceased by her son David and   parents Peter and Agneta Harder. She is survived by her granddaughter Alexandra, 6 siblings: Dave, Sara, Pete, Nettie, Tina and Jerri. Many nieces and nephews, Rosie being the closest to her next to Angela and her sister Jerri. 

A memorial will be planned for when we are able to have gatherings.
