Sawatzky, Darlene Ann January 1, 1963 - March 18, 2023. With heavy hearts, the world has said goodbye to Ann. After years of chronic pain, Ann passed away peacefully after choosing a medically assisted death. She is survived by her children Jeffrey and Nichole (Devin). She was a loving grandmother to Winston, Gregory, and Simone, as well as the other children in her life. Through her time growing up in Nelson, raising her children in the West Kootenays, her time spent in Victoria, and her final years in Burnaby, Ann made an impression on many. Always with a unique outlook on life, she will be missed and remembered affectionately.
