Carol Robertson

Carol Dorothy Robertson told her last funny story the morning of November 7th, 2022 succumbing to lung cancer in the care of the wonderful staff at Vancouver Hospice Society.

She will best be remembered for her long stories and wicked sense of humour. Sometimes telling tales that were so good she started laughing midway and never got to the end. 

She was a natural entertainer and people and animals gravitated to her.  She had a sparkle about her. Whether at Bonsor exercising with her favourite ladies or at the grocery store,  the dog park, or on a favourite cruise, Carol always had the perfect outfit and looked runway ready with a little glam.

In addition to her many friends and extended family, she leaves behind and will be missed by husband Brian Robertson, daughter Kimberlee Robertson, brothers Duncan & Dave (sister-in-law Joan) McLean, and nephews Paul & Michael and nieces Tanya & Shawna. 

A firm believer in always having a spare “just in case”, she also leaves behind a collection of clothing and shoes that, with the help of brother and sister-in-law David & Joan McLean, will provide joy to an astonishing number of women in need.

In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Vancouver Hospice Society in her name would be appreciated. Following her wishes a celebration of life will be held in the spring on her favourite seawall.
