Carol Anderson

April 22, 2021

On April 22, on her eightieth birthday, Carol Anderson passed away peacefully in her sleep.  Born in Saskatoon, Sask. to Alex and Mary Cotts, she moved to B.C. in her twenties.  Carol worked for Belkins Packaging in Richmond for many years while raising her family of four children.  Her stubbornness and sense of humor helped her through some very challenging times.  Eventually she retired to Pitt Meadows and thankfully, with the help of her son, Scott, was able to stay in her home for her last years and have visits with family and friends. Carol was predeceased by her parents, her long time partner Brian Williams, and brother Robert Cotts.  She is survived by her children Scott Anderson, Gary Anderson, Tricia Knight, Corrine Lewand,  and their partners as well as 6 grandchildren, her sister Donna Shultz, and sister-in-law Merlie Cotts and many cousins and friends.

She was dearly loved, and will be sorely missed.

In accordance to Carol's wishes, cremation has taken place.  An interment and gathering will be held at a future date.

You are invited to leave a personal message for the family.

Carol and Sharon were buddy’s who walked to Wilson together. When the got into later grades and if I was lucky enough to be walking with them  when a vehicle was passing by blowing their horn and waving I knew it wasn’t for me. They were a pair of head turners who seemed to always be in a good mood. A great part of an amazing street to grow up on. Thanks fir the memories  Al Habicht
