Happy Birthday in heaven Brent Harradine. πŸŽ‚πŸ¨πŸŽπŸŽ‰πŸ₯ƒπŸ»πŸ₯‚πŸΎπŸŽŠ
Yesterday would have been your 61st birthday. (The first one in many many years that I haven't been able to Celebrate with you or at least wish you a Happy Birthday on the phone !!!!)
I hope you're having a great birthday celebration up there with your father W.R (Bud), brother David and sister Susie.
You are missed down here not only by me, but also by your Mom Gloria, your nephews Gage & Riley and niece Jessica, goddaughters Brenda & Lia Meikle, plus many other family & close friends.
You were a kind, generous, loving & thoughtful person to everyone you knew.
You were a Railroad Man, through and through.  As a third generation at CN Rail, you started as a Carman Apprentice in the Equipment Department of freight Car Repair, then a Supervisor of Equipment for Various Terminals & the Recovery of Equipment at train derailments. Then onto a Special Commodities Officer looking after Dangerous Goods by Rail.  Before you left CN you were Trainmaster and supervising Train Crews.
Transport Canada saw the dedication & leadership qualities you possessed and scooped you up to head up the dangerous commodities division.  Interested in the safety of Rail Operations for all crew members, you moved up to Head of Rail Safety, doing onsite inspections & ensuring  the regulations under the Railway Safety Act for car equipment were adhered to.
You had to attend & oversee derailments of dangerous goods throughout Western Canada.  Plus you were a Qualified operations officer to monitor Train Crews & Train Operations.  A Railroad Man at heart.  Keep riding those Rusty Rails Forever !!!
Railroading wasn't your only passion, collector cars, dogs and racehorses played a big part in your life.  Your pride & joy the 1956 Ford Fairlane Convertible won you many honors at the Collector Car Shows, Dougie will look after her for you from now on. You owned many winning Standard bred racehorses and you even tried dabbling in Thoroughbred Racing for a time.
They say everyone has that one person, you were mine. πŸ’”πŸ’”πŸ’”
I can't tell you how much I miss you & our daily talks. πŸ’”πŸ’”πŸ’”
Love You Forever and Always ! 😘
RIP Brently !   Til we meet again !! ❀  Leanne Petersen
