TUTTE, Arnold Dennis. March 17, 1953 - May 22, 2023.

Passed away peacefully in his sleep after a 2-year battle with IPF - a rare lung disease (Pulmonary Fibrosis). Predeceased by his brother Ken in 2011. Survived by his wife Kory, sister-in-law Lorraine, sisters Megan and Barb (Rick), nieces Andria, Shannon, Sierra (Paul) & their baby girl Brielle (great niece). Also, nephews Robert, Bryan, Kevin & Darren.

In his early years Arn enjoyed playing soccer. Then bowling in leagues & competing in 5-pin bowling tournaments where he won several trophies for high average (220), high game scores, and team awards. He was no Arnold Palmer, but he enjoyed golfing & improving his game. He also liked fishing. He was sidelined by knee injuries, and back injuries & had to give up active sports.

However, Silver Wings Airlines started offering trips to Reno, so he got exercise at the slot machines. Lots of fun trips. One of his last wishes was to go to a local casino just one more time. And he did - in a wheelchair, with portable oxygen. He was a lucky guy - always winning bonuses & prizes at work, on lottery tickets, merchandise, etc.

He worked for Auto Parts Plus for over 23 years doing phone sales, and as a  car parts counterman.

Arn endured a lot of pain from knee surgeries, back pain, bladder cancer, and IPF. But he quietly went through it all.

With Pumpkin, his faithful side-kick. We rescued Pumpkin as an adult cat. Big white & orange guy. Arn & Pumpkin had an amazing bond from day one. He was Arn's therapy cat. He would climb on Arn's lap, or sit next to him watching hockey. If Arn went for a nap, so did Pumpkin. Curled up tight into Arn's chest. He was a comical cat as well.

Finally free from pain, he will be missed & remain in our hearts.

No service by request.

Thank you to St. Michael's Hospice in Burnaby for all of Arn's care. They are amazing nurses, supportive, and caring for the family as well, under some very difficult circumstances.

You are invited to leave a personal message for the family.
